DOGE
#1
I've been searching for a place to post for DOGE, but this is the only place I can find to do such a thing. Though this is likely more a company thing than a DOGE thing, here goes.

We spend $800 BILLION dollars on homelessness EVERY YEAR. We *could* build all the people zero-loss, self-sufficient homes with that money and they wouldn't be homeless anymore. "In 2023, 653,104 people experienced homelessness on a single night, which is the highest number since the national reporting began in 2007." That's $1,224,919.76 FOR EVERY PERSON even though some are the children of homeless. How many mansions could that buy?!? Imagine building somewhat cheaper homes and extra land for gardening/farming. It's like a whole sub-society could suddenly rejoin the rest of the population.
